Finding your purpose in life!

Many would say that one of the most difficult questions a person can ask themselves is "What is my purpose in life?" However, if you have ever asked yourself this question and found it especially challenging, then this article could provide some valuable insight.

*How to find the true purpose of your life:

Have you ever wondered what the true purpose of life is? What if I told you that the answer to that question could be found simply by asking yourself this one question: Do I want my life to have meaning? What is the meaning of life? No one knows for sure. Some people believe that the purpose of life is to live for God. Others believe that living a fulfilling and happy life is what matters most. People also have different opinions on how to live a fulfilling life. For example, some people think that they must spend time doing good deeds while others think they must spend time in prayer. Well I personally believe your purpose in life is what you make it to be and the noblest one I believe is helping humanity. In order to find your purpose in life, you must first know why society needs you. What is your talent? What makes you unique? Once you have this clear, then begin asking yourself what needs the world has that you can fulfill. Think about the needs of the world around you and see where your talents fit in. In order to live a fulfilled life, it is important to set goals for yourself and make sure that you are happy. One way to do this is by asking yourself two questions: "What makes me happy?" and "What am I doing with my life?". The answers to these questions can help you figure out how to be happy.

*what is my definition of success and happiness:

I had never really thought about what success or happiness meant to me until I read an excerpt from The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin. In this book, she claims that without meaning, the universe is a dismal place.

For me, happiness means feeling content with myself on a day-to-day basis and being able to express myself creatively. I also want to be successful in my chosen field and make enough money to provide for my family as well as make them happy. But I've always felt like there was something more important missing.

Recently, I started looking into Buddhist philosophy and it has given me an understanding of how to keep my life meaningful despite the challenges it throws at me. It's not tangible but rather just an understanding that we are all interconnected through love and compassion. All of us are already serving a purpose whether we realize this or not in the end I would like to say that anything which makes you tired or gives you a headache is not your purpose in life, your true purpose is to find what you love whatever does not make you tired gives you the feeling of fulfillment and you are as excited to work the next day as you were, in the beginning, is essentially in my perspective your true talent or purpose.
